“Working remotely is all I have known for over 30 years. I think the most important distinction to note is that remote doesn't mean alone. Quite the contrary. ML has masterfully created an environment of camaraderie where you may have never laid eyes on someone in person, but you feel you know them as trusted, cherished colleagues. That's quite lovely, don't you think?”

About Joanne Strobert

Joanne has over three decades of experience in B2B marketing communications and consultative sales. Before ML, she managed her own consulting business for 12 years. Her clients included finance, insurance, and professional services firms.

Joanne’s experience includes developing marketing strategies that shape company positioning, crafting key messages, and developing corporate collateral. She is one of our most experienced executive interviewers and in her almost two decades with ML, she has conducted thousands of interviews.

A regular recipient of internal awards, Joanne is especially gifted in personifying our corporate value of FUN. When not working, Joanne volunteers with Meals on Wheels, CATRA (Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association), and the LCBC (Church) Café. She is obsessed with dogs, crossword puzzles, the Eiffel Tower, flamingoes, red wine, chocolate, s'mores, ladybugs, the colors red and purple, and Star Trek.

“When I’m conducting interviews as a neutral third party, we have an advantage in engaging executives. My role is to encourage the interviewee to give productive feedback (the bad and the good) that allows our client to understand what their customer is truly thinking. As a third party, it seems they are more willing to offer constructive criticism to us.”
